The resignation of Emily Prouty as agriculture and FFA instructor has influenced the South Page School Board to discuss further sharing agreements with Clarinda for next school year.
Prouty’s resignation on May 13 is being negotiated between Clarinda and South Page which could share certain staff members for South Page High School students. No decisions have been made in regards to FFA programs.
South Page’s decreasing enrollment and difficulty in finding certain teaching positions has made the district consider using Clarinda. Both districts have extensively discussed how sharing staff and programs could work, although no formal decisions have been made.
