HJ - New Market Little Library at Methodist Church

A Little Free Library has been placed at the Methodist Church in New Market by the Arts & Culture Committee. People may take a book and are encouraged to leave a book of their own in its place. There are three Little Free Libraries in New Market. (photo provided)

We are proud to announce that the second and third Little Free Libraries are now in place!

Each is stocked with books for all ages. The Arts & Culture Committee had received a grant from Aureon to place these Little Free Libraries in the New Market Community.

The first one was up and running back in January and now the second and third are now in place, registered on the Little Free Library website and stocked for use.

Guests traveling through town are encouraged to use these free resources! Those who wish to take a book are also encouraged to leave an already loved book of their own for others to enjoy. A local library steward will be monitoring and caring for all three libraries.

The second Little Free Library is located at the Church of Christ. You can find it next to the flag pole at the front of the church.

The third Little Free Library is located on the Northwest corner of the Methodist Church. You can see them easily as all three are red with white trim.

Also, don’t forget that the first Little Free Library is located at the Southwest leg of the New Market water tower.
