The South Page School Board formally approved the sharing agreement of Superintendent Tim Hood with Sidney and East Mills school districts. Action was taken during the board’s meeting held last month.
South Page and Sidney have shared the position for 10 years. East Mills was in search of a superintendent because of the resignation of its superintendent this spring who was shared with Essex.
The three-way agreement includes Hood to be at South Page 30 percent of the time and Sidney half of the time. The agreement is for one school year and the three district boards will meet during the school year to review the effectiveness.
South Page also approved to continue sharing the business manager position with Shenandoah. Sidney curriculum director Nancy Rocker will also be utilized at South Page.
