Voters in Clarinda have petitioned to have a special election to fill the vacancy on the Clarinda Regional Health Center Board of Trustees. During a special meeting on Tuesday evening, Aug. 26, the Clarinda City Council set Sept. 30 as the date for the special municipal election.
On Friday, Sept. 5, at 8:50 a.m., Clarinda Regional Health Center Emergency Medical Services and the Clarinda Police Department were dispatched to the Clarinda Country Club concerning a serious bicycle accident.
